A Collection of Four spanish Porcelain Figural Groups
Description
A collection of four glazed and painted porcelain or fine ceramic figural groups stylized to Lladro, depicting young women or girls in pastoral and historical genre styles. The grouping consists of four individual figures. One figure, dressed in pink and holding a piglet, is mounted on a circular wooden base featuring a gold plaque partially marked AMERICAN FAMILY. A second figure, wearing a striped dress and interacting with a goose, is secured to a rectangular wooden base bearing a small plaque inscribed B. Hart. The two primarily white figures show visible impressed and stamped circular maker’s marks on their undersides, including a green printed mark on one figure. The style and material align with Lladro’s production of figural groups such as the “Three Sisters” series.
