A Collection of 15 Lledo Days Gone Die-Cast Promotional Model Vehicles
Description
A collection of 15 die-cast model vehicles primarily manufactured by Lledo (London) Ltd., part of the ‘Days Gone’ and ‘Promotors’ series. The collection includes vintage commercial trucks, vans, and buses. Nine models are retained in their original cardboard and clear plastic blister packaging. Boxed liveries include Nivea Creme, Tetley’s Teas, News of the World, Walkers Crisps, Eastern National, Royal Blue Luxury Coach, and The Edradour. Packaging is marked “MADE IN ENGLAND” and some boxes bear a © 1983 Lledo (London) Ltd. copyright. The remaining six items are loose vehicles of the same style, including a tan ambulance with red cross markings, a red and white articulated truck marked “WALES,” a silver Greyhound coach, and three yellow service/delivery vehicles, one marked “AA Service” and another reading “Bob Garside Used Cars, Pool, W. Yorks.”
