A Figural Art Nouveau Revival Lamp and a Tiffany Style Desk Lamp
Description
A collection of two electric light fixtures. The primary item is a large figural lamp assembly featuring a substantial base fashioned as a dark patinated metal statue, likely spelter, depicting a classical female figure seated and reaching upward toward a bird. This statue rests upon a tiered, dark-painted circular base. Extending from the statue is a tall, curved copper-toned metal arm culminating in a light source. The light source is fitted with a pale blue/white opaque glass shade featuring a ruffled skirt of clear, applied glass petals, consistent with Art Nouveau or revival styling. The second item is a smaller desk lamp featuring a dark metal fluted base and a curved arm supporting a mosaic or stained glass dome shade. This shade is composed of multi-colored geometric panels arranged in a scale pattern, characteristic of Tiffany revival designs. The base of the larger lamp bears two white inventory stickers marked “61” and “82.”
