An Eddie Lee 'Hungry Bear' Serpentine Stone Sculpture and a Ceramic Cat Figurine
Description
This lot comprises two animal figurines. The first is a stylized, modernist sculpture identified as an Eddie Lee ‘Hungry Bear’, rendered in smooth, rounded forms from a dark greenish-grey serpentine stone. The second item is a realistic, glazed ceramic or porcelain figurine of a sitting cat, featuring a detailed calico or tortoiseshell pattern in shades of brown, black, white, and tan, with yellow eyes. A small white rectangular sticker with illegible writing is affixed to the back of the bear sculpture. The cat figurine displays a white rectangular sticker with the number “6182” on its left flank and another small tag partially visible on its chest.
