A Vintage Scale Model of an Age of Sail Multi-Masted Ship, possibly the 'Constitution'
Description
A detailed scale model of a multi-masted sailing ship, characteristic of the Age of Sail. The model is constructed primarily from dark-stained wood for the hull and masts, featuring numerous cream-colored fabric sails and intricate wire and chain rigging. It is presented on a fitted wooden display stand with brass-colored supports. A plaque on the stand bears the handwritten English inscription “Constitution, 19??”, with the full date being partially obscured.
