A Collection of Vintage and Antique Decorative Objects, including a Horn, Boxes, and Assorted Metalware
Description
This lot comprises a diverse collection of vintage and antique decorative and functional objects. The items are primarily crafted from various metals, including brass, silver-toned, and bronze, alongside natural horn, ceramic, and glass. Prominent items include a large carved horn with a brass rim, an ornate silver-plated lidded box featuring figural relief decoration, and a smaller brass-toned embossed lidded box. Also present is a small decorative glass bottle. The assortment of smaller metallic pieces consists of a pair of sugar tongs, a miniature decorative shoe, a long scooping implement, a small cleaning brush and a rake-like tool, and various keys. Some small keys are mounted within an ornate gilded frame, while others are housed in a small rectangular tin, accompanied by a separate larger winding key. Completing the collection are a framed ceramic tile depicting a landscape with tulips, an irregularly shaped painted dish featuring a miniature vehicle, an an oval locket or compact, and a black fountain pen with a gold-colored clip.
