A Collection of Mixed Vintage Dolls
Description
A diverse collection of approximately twenty-plus dolls, exhibiting varied styles, materials, and apparent periods. The collection includes a large plastic baby doll with ‘MADE IN JAPAN’ marked on the sole of one shoe, several dolls with porcelain or bisque-like faces depicting traditional or international costumes (such as a Japanese geisha-style doll, a British guard, and European folk figures), knitted and plush character dolls, and smaller plastic or composition figures. Visible materials comprise plastic, ceramic or composition for faces and bodies, knitted yarn, and various textiles for clothing. A small yellow sign reading ‘Grandchildren spoiled here’ is positioned beside a doll with blonde yarn hair.
