Description
A Mid-Century Modern ‘Spanish Garden’ coffee service by Midwinter, likely dating from the 1960s to 1970s. The partial service is crafted from white glazed ceramic and comprises a lidded, tall-form coffee pot, a group of cups, and three saucers. Each piece is decorated with a distinctive stylized floral pattern featuring large blossoms and scrolling foliage in shades of teal, blue, and green, accented with purple. A white sticker on the pot displays the inventory number “8991”. The underside of one inverted cup reveals a partial black backstamp, with “Midwinter” clearly legible, suggesting manufacture in Staffordshire, England.
