Description
A Mele & Co Oriental Rose wooden jewellery box of rectangular form with a slightly domed lid. The lid features a decorative burl wood veneer top adorned with a floral marquetry inlay, bordered by a geometric band. The body is crafted from a lighter-toned wood and fitted with brass-toned hardware, including hinges and a simple front clasp. The interior is lined with a light-colored fabric, presenting a removable compartmentalized tray with ring rolls and dividers. The lid’s interior offers small hooks and a pleated storage pocket. An interior label reads ‘Elan Co.’
