A Dodie Thayer Lettuce Ware Cabbage Bowl and a Collection of Decorative Ceramics and Prints
Description
A Dodie Thayer Lettuce Ware ceramic cabbage-shaped bowl, accented with a red ladybug. The lot also includes a naturalistic ceramic tree-stump vase featuring two deer, a blue ceramic bowl with green and blue Art Nouveau-style motifs, a glazed brown ceramic poodle figurine, a large decorative ceramic plate with a scalloped pink and gold border depicting a landscape scene (marked with a white sticker “G 182”), a small plain white ceramic cup, and a small green ribbed ceramic dish. A pair of lidded jasperware boxes, one light blue and one light green, exhibit white classical relief decoration. Also present are a pair of pictorial prints depicting late 19th or early 20th-century genre scenes of children, and a metallic or resin figurine of a frog with orange and blue accents, presented in a deep green satin-lined box.
