A Collection of Costume Jewelry
Description
A varied collection of costume jewelry, comprising numerous necklaces of various lengths and styles including beaded, chain, pendant, and choker designs; several bracelets, including beaded, chain, and braided faux-leather examples; and multiple pairs of earrings, both studs and dangles. Materials observed include silver-tone and gold-tone base metals, faux pearls, plastic and glass beads in various colors such as bright green, blue, purple, and beige, clear and colored rhinestones, enamel pieces, and elements resembling natural stone, notably a purple and white crackled-texture heart-shaped pendant and pieces appearing to be abalone shell. The collection presents an eclectic range of styles, from heavily adorned rhinestone pieces and classic faux pearl strands to bohemian-inspired designs with silver-tone embossed pendants and colorful beaded pieces. A white tag marked ‘bijoux’ (French for ‘jewelry’) is present, along with a small handwritten ’61’ on a tag near the bottom right.
