A Group of Three Plush Teddy Bears
Description
A group of three plush teddy bears. The largest, a light tan bear, is seated on the left and wears a light-green knitted sweater, brown corduroy overalls, and a red scarf. It features plastic or stitched eyes and nose and has an unreadable white tag attached to its leg. This bear, along with the golden-brown plush bear, appears consistent with antique mohair teddy bears attributed to Kiesewetter based on visual characteristics and market comparables. The smallest bear, a golden-brown plush positioned in the center, shows noticeable wear on its snout and paw pads, and features plastic or stitched eyes and nose. The third bear, a medium brown plush, is presented seated within its original light-colored cardboard box. This bear features an oval-shaped tag around its neck, clearly inscribed “Doudou et Compagnie PARIS,” and the box itself bears a small white sticker with the number “82” visible. It features plastic or stitched eyes and nose.
