Vintage Steiff Growler Bear with Hump Back
Description
This is a vintage Steiff growler bear with a hump back, crafted from light cream or blonde-colored plush or mohair material. It features dark, possibly glass or plastic, bead eyes and an embroidered dark brown nose and mouth. A distinctive red and white tag is visible on the bear’s left ear, bearing the brand name ‘Steiff’ and the German phrase ‘Knopf im Ohr’ (Button in Ear), a well-known trademark.
