A Vintage Royal Canadian Mounted Police Souvenir Doll with Tag and a Collection of Meccano-Style Building Set Parts
Description
An articulated doll depicting a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer, dressed in a “Red Serge” uniform comprising a red tunic, black trousers, and brown boots, complete with a leather-look belt, holster, and weapon sling. The doll stands on a small brown base. A paper tag held in its hand is partially visible, displaying “MASCOT” at the top, followed by “GENUINE ARTIFACT, CANADIAN SOUVENIR, HAND MADE…” in English, with a French translation below. Accompanying the doll is a collection of olive-green painted perforated metal plates, strips, axles, rubber-tired wheels, and assorted small metal fasteners, typical of a Meccano-style building set.
