Antique English Silver Pocket Watch by Hay Jones & Co., Worcester & Gloucester, with Watch Key
Description
An antique English pocket watch featuring a round, silver-toned metal case with a prominent bow and crown. The white enamel dial displays black Roman numeral hour markers, an outer minute track, and a sunken sub-seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position with Arabic numerals for 15, 30, 45, and 60. The dial is visibly marked “HAY JONES & Co.” and “WORCESTER & GLOUCESTER”. The watch is accompanied by a separate watch key, which has a brass or bronze shield-shaped handle with a steel shaft, embossed with the text “WATCH MAKERS AND JEWELLERS”.
