A Collection of Modern British Commemorative Coins, Elizabeth II
Description
A collection of modern British commemorative or uncirculated coins, primarily dating from the reign of Elizabeth II. Visible dates include 1977, with examples of the Silver Jubilee Coin Queen Elizabeth II, and 1983. The silver-colored metal coins are individually housed in various protective packaging, including clear plastic capsules, rigid plastic holders (some with green or blue inserts), and small black faux-leather pouches. Visible text and markings on the packaging include ‘Midland Bank’, ‘Lloyds Bank’ (often with a horse logo), and ‘Westminster’ with ‘Watford, Herts.’. Several coins bear the inscription ‘ELIZABETH II D G REGINA F D’. The entire assemblage is presented within a reddish-orange plastic tray, which bears a white sticker stating ‘TRAY NOT IN SALE PLEASE’ and another with the number ‘895’.
