A Pair of Japanese Creative Kokeshi Dolls
Description
A pair of Japanese Creative Kokeshi dolls, both carved from wood. The first doll, lighter in tone, features a natural wood finish with carved lines indicating hair, topped by a small bow-shaped ornament with red and white polka dots. Its cylindrical body is decorated with hand-painted white and pink floral designs. The second doll, crafted from darker wood, displays a smooth, dark brown bob-cut hairstyle and a slightly tapered body adorned with hand-painted red, white, and yellow stylized floral motifs. Both figures exhibit simple painted facial features, and the darker doll has a white rectangular sticker with the number ‘6182’ affixed to its side.
