A Collection of Vintage Men's Grooming Kits and Decorative Boxes
Description
A collection of six vintage accessories and decorative items. This lot includes two brown leatherette or faux leather travel kits identified through web intelligence as vintage men’s grooming or toiletry kits. The larger kit is open, revealing a mirror, comb, brush, and various chrome/silver-toned metal and glass/plastic bottles. The smaller kit is also open, holding three cylindrical chrome/silver-toned containers. Accompanying these are two red boxes: a heart-shaped leatherette or faux leather case with a cream interior, and a rectangular textured box featuring a brass-toned clasp. Resting on the red rectangular box is a miniature decorative shoe, intricately adorned with black beadwork over a dark fabric. Completing the lot is a black lacquered wood or papier-mâché rectangular box, decorated with colorful painted scenes depicting a Japanese landscape including Mount Fuji, pagodas, and trees, with some white V-shaped accents that may indicate shell inlay.
