Lot 217:
A Collection of Sylvac and Other Decorative Ceramics and Porcelain
Description
This lot comprises an assorted collection of approximately fifteen decorative ceramic and porcelain items, including pieces attributed to Sylvac. The collection features a child’s feeding bowl depicting two children, a matching child’s plate and oval platter adorned with anthropomorphic rabbits, and a white hexagonal lidded trinket box with a strawberry motif, bearing a “61.32” sticker. Figurines include a teal ceramic deer (likely Sylvac), a dark brown stylized owl (likely Sylvac), two reddish-brown squirrels, and a bisque-style lady in a tiered dress. Also included are a white bell-shaped piece with strawberries and two small green candle holders. A large, blue and white hexagonal lidded jar, decorated with architectural landscapes including “SELBY ABBEY” and gilt accents, stands prominently alongside a small yellow and black souvenir pitcher depicting “BIG BEN.” A green textured vase or planter (possibly Sylvac) and a cream-colored lidded pot with a metal handle complete the grouping.
