Antique Two-Part Baroque-Style Distressed Wooden Cabinet
Description
An antique two-part wooden cabinet, resembling a hutch or curio cabinet, crafted in a Baroque style with a distressed finish. The cabinet features an arched and scrolled pediment top. The upper section is fitted with two glass-fronted doors, each with a wooden knob pull, opening to reveal two internal shelves. Below these doors is an open shelf area. The lower section comprises two small drawers, each with a wooden knob pull, situated above two solid-panel doors. The finish displays a distressed aesthetic, with the upper portion appearing lighter, possibly pickled or limed, transitioning to a darker, possibly stained or painted, finish on the lower part. Vertical fluting is visible on the side stiles. A white sticker on the upper door and the lower right drawer front reads ‘SPARKS’S AUCTION LOT: 202’.
