A Collection of Six Assorted Vintage Boxes
Description
A collection of six assorted boxes of varying sizes and materials. This group includes a plain light brown rectangular wooden box, and a larger dark reddish-brown wooden box with inlaid light wood trim and a brass-toned escutcheon. Resting upon the latter is a cream-colored rectangular box, possibly composite material, featuring a stepped Art Deco-style lid with an oval scenic decoration depicting a waterside landscape flanked by radiating lines, and containing faint, indecipherable text. To the right, a domed-lid box with a printed or decoupage floral motif of roses and foliage is present, along with a smaller, light brown wooden box decorated with colorful dancing figures and floral designs on its hinged lid, bearing a white “586” sticker. A dark, partially obscured rectangular box is also visible.
