Description
A framed print after L.S. Lowry, titled ‘Industrial Landscape’, depicting a busy industrial urban landscape in a naive or primitive style. The artwork features numerous multi-story brick buildings with smoke billowing from tall chimneys, a distant bridge, and a multitude of small, elongated figures suggesting a bustling community. Visible text on a building within the print reads “SIMONS STREET.” The print is presented under glass within a wide, off-white matte and a gold-toned, possibly gesso or gilded wood, frame with a classic profile. A small white sticker in the lower right corner of the matte displays a handwritten inventory number, “4006,” followed by what appears to be a “J.”
