A Wooden Table Lamp and an Accompanying Ceramic Lamp Base
Description
A table lamp, the quadrangular, tapered base The base is constructed from lacquered wood or composite, in a dark brown/burgundy hue, and is intricately decorated with gold criss-cross patterns and polychrome floral motifs on its upper sections, exhibiting a visible crackled finish. One side is adorned with a brass-tone lion’s head ring pull, and a central brass column supports a modern clear LED candle-flame bulb. An accompanying smaller, round white ceramic lamp base is decorated with pink and green floral sprays, also fitted with a lamp socket and electrical cord. A white auction sticker on the main lamp’s base reads “SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS LOT 159”.
