Description
An Arts and Crafts style single-door wardrobe, crafted from oak or a similar hardwood, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The cabinet features a robust, rectilinear form with prominent quarter-sawn grain visible throughout. The central door is designed with applied vertical and horizontal battens creating a paneled effect. Decorative carved relief panels, featuring stylized organic or abstract motifs, are situated on the upper stiles flanking the central door. A dark metal pull handle is affixed to the door. Two white rectangular inventory labels are visible on the door, bearing the numbers “492” and “20”.
