A Group of Four Decorative Wooden Boxes and Organizer
Description
A group of four small wooden items, generally appearing to be modern decorative or souvenir pieces. The collection includes a dark-toned desk organizer with multiple vertical slots and a lower compartment featuring an inlaid or carved floral motif, alongside a matching dark-toned rectangular lidded box with a contrasting diamond inlay. Additionally, there are two lighter-toned wooden boxes: a rectangular lidded box with internal dividers, adorned with an incised compass rose or starburst pattern on its front and side; and a distinctive oval-shaped lidded box with a heart-shaped metal clasp, detailed with incised carvings depicting a city skyline on its lid and wave-like patterns on its sides. All pieces are crafted from wood of varying tones and finishes, displaying decorative elements such as inlay, carving, and incised patterns. Inventory stickers “131” and “237” are visible on some items, but no other definitive maker’s marks or translatable language is apparent.
