Lot 121:
A Group of Vintage Dolls and Doll Parts, Mid-20th Century
Description
A group of vintage dolls and doll parts, primarily composition or hard plastic, dating to the mid-20th century. The lot comprises two distinct groups presented on a red plastic tray. On the left, a disassembled group includes light-toned doll parts: a head with blue open/sleep eyes, multiple limbs, and torso sections, appearing to be crafted from composition or an early plastic material. Some of these parts are partially covered by white netting and pink striped fabric. One torso segment exhibits a white adhesive label marked “062”. On the right, a single, fully assembled doll features a dark-skinned body, molded black hair, and painted facial features with red lips and white/black eyes. This doll, likely made of composition or hard plastic, is attired in a red knitted cardigan with white trim over a cream-colored dress. A white rectangular auction tag pinned to the cardigan reads “SOCIETY AUCTIONEERS LOT 121”.
