David Shepherd 'Elephants at Amboseli' Print, 1962
Description
A print after David Shepherd, titled ‘Elephants at Amboseli’, originally created in 1962. This large, panoramic print depicts a herd of African elephants, including adults and at least one calf, traversing a dusty, sunlit savanna or sparse forest environment. Rendered in a realistic wildlife art style with earthy tones and bright highlights. The artwork is presented in a simple, light-colored wooden frame with visible grain, suggesting a contemporary period. A white rectangular sticker bearing the number ‘6182’ is affixed to the top center edge of the frame.
