A Collection of Kirk Repousse Pattern Silver-Handled Carving and Serving Utensils
Description
A collection of seven carving and serving utensils, featuring handles in the distinctive Kirk Repousse pattern. Each piece features an elaborately decorated silver handle in a rococo-style pattern of floral, scroll, and shell motifs. One handle clearly bears an ‘800’ silver standard mark, indicating 800 parts per 1000 silver purity, while other handles exhibit indistinct hallmarks, consistent with silver construction. The blades are made of stainless steel, with some marked ‘STAINLESS,’ one additionally inscribed ‘H. BROS.,’ and another ‘BL. SHEFFIELD.’ The collection includes various knives, forks, and servers.
