Description
A cased antique English silver and plate and mother of pearl serving cutlery set, comprising a serving spoon and a small spreader knife. The set features white mother of pearl handles joined by decorative silver-colored metal ferrules to extensively engraved or chased silver-colored metal components. The spoon’s bowl and neck, and the knife’s ornately edged blade, display intricate scrollwork and floral motifs, characteristic of a decorative period style. The items are presented in a hinged, dark-colored velvet or leatherette box with a vibrant royal blue velvet interior and gold-tone hardware. Two illegible white labels are present within the case lid.
