A Collection of Silver Jewellery Including Chains and Pendants
Description
This collection of jewellery comprises three neck chains and two separate pendants in silver metals. The first item is a fine silver curb-link chain featuring a lobster clasp and an extender chain, suspended with a small circular religious medal depicting a figure with a halo. The second item is a fine silver curb-link chain without a visible clasp. The third item is a fine silver- twisted curb-link chain fitted with a spring-ring clasp. Included is a silver cluster pendant featuring a central round-cut faceted pink stone surrounded by a border of small clear faceted stones. The final item is an oval religious medal depicting the Madonna and Child against a sunray-textured ground with a bevelled edge. Small impressed marks are visible on the clasps and bails of the items; however, these characters are not legible and do not spell a maker’s name.
