Description
A vintage figural costume jewellery brooch depicting Santa Claus in a standing pose. By Butler And Wilson The piece is constructed from a gold-tone base metal, featuring red enamel on the coat and hat, and textured white enamel on the beard and fur-effect trimmings. The belt is set with a large, central emerald-cut green glass or paste stone functioning as a buckle, flanked by small round red rhinestones. The trimmings of the hat, sleeve cuffs, and coat hem are embellished with small round clear rhinestones, with a single clear rhinestone at the tip of the pom-pom. The figure’s eyes are formed by two small circular black stones, while the boots are represented by two rectangular black stones. No manufacturer’s marks or hallmarks are visible on the front of the brooch; the reverse side is not visible in the provided image.
