A Buren 9ct Gold Art Deco Rectangular Wristwatch
Description
A vintage Buren manual wind wristwatch featuring a 9ct yellow gold rectangular case with stepped Art Deco shoulders. The silvered dial is signed BUREN in printed black characters and features black Arabic numerals, a railway-style minute track, and a square subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position. The case back is stamped with the serial number 166457 and features several hallmarks, including a chamfered rectangular cartouche containing 9 and .375, a diamond-shaped cartouche containing the numeral 9, and two small circular stamps. The watch is presented on a distressed brown leather strap with a gold-tone buckle.
