Silver and Smoky Quartz Cocktail Ring with Yellow Metal Accents SIZE P
Description
A large silver cocktail ring featuring a cushion-shaped smoky quartz gemstone. The gemstone is cut with a checkerboard-faceted crown and is secured by two wide, textured bar-style prongs. The stone is mounted within an openwork gallery which, along with the shank, is decorated with a relief-moulded woven cable pattern. The shoulders are each accented with a small yellow metal floral motif. Three small rectangular indented marks are visible on the underside of the gallery; however, the characters and symbols within these stamps are not legible and do not identify a specific maker. The silver metalwork features an intentionally oxidised finish within the recessed areas of the design to enhance the textured detail.
