A Collection of Decorative Items and Ceramics Including an Imari Style Lamp Base and a Twin-Bell Alarm Clock
Description
An assortment of decorative objects and collectibles. The collection features a porcelain table lamp base decorated in the Imari palette with iron red, cobalt blue, and gilt floral motifs, fitted with a brass bulb socket. The body of the lamp bears a white adhesive label reading SHELBY’S AUCTIONEERS LOT 397 and a smaller white rectangular label reading 50/-. Also included is a vintage brass-cased twin-bell alarm clock with a white dial, Roman numerals, and a secondary sub-dial; no maker’s name is legible on the dial face. The ceramics include a large circular plate featuring a monochrome Art Deco style illustration of a woman in profile walking a greyhound, a small white saucer with polychrome floral decoration, and a plain white ceramic cup. The lot is completed by a large ceramic character jug modelled as a man’s head, a small porcelain figurine of a woman in a pink tiered dress, and a stack of vintage magazines.
