Description
A collection of sporting match day programmes and ephemera housed in a cardboard box. The lot includes a printed contents list detailing football programmes for Leeds United and Southend United from the 1960s and 1970s, including cup finals and a 1971 Southend United tour to Russia. Rugby union programmes are present for Leeds Tykes and Otley RUFC from 1995 to 2010. A programme for a Great Britain v France Rugby League match at Headingley Carnegie is visible, bearing a circular logo for an official souvenir magazine priced at four pounds. Cricket memorabilia includes a blue folder with a central crest and the text THE CRICKET CLUB OF INDIA DIAMOND JUBILEE TOUR UK 1993. A series of international test match programmes for England, West Indies, South Africa, Australia, and Pakistan from 2007 to 2012 are also included.
