A large and diverse assembly of worldwide coinage, primarily dating from the 20th century, comprising various denominations and base metal alloys including cupro-nickel, bronze, and nickel-brass. The lot features a 1951 Festival of Britain crown presented in a dark green rectangular box, with the lid bearing a gold-coloured crest and the date 1951. A prominent United States one dollar coin dated 1972 is visible, featuring the profile of Dwight D. Eisenhower and the legend I N G O D W E T R U S T. The collection includes a significant variety of international issues, such as a Malaysian coin featuring the text TUWKU ABDUL RAHMAN PUTRA AL-HAJ, and multiple British and Commonwealth coins bearing the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, including a five-pound coin.
