A Collection of Lead Crystal and Decorative Bells
Description
A collection of decorative bells comprising several lead crystal, cut glass, ceramic, and enamel examples. The crystal bells feature various cut geometric patterns, including starburst and cross-hatched designs. One clear glass bell is etched with the word ‘SAGITTARIUS’ around the base, while another example is etched with the word ‘Edinburgh’ near the rim. A festive clear glass bell is surmounted by a painted figurine of Santa Claus standing on a snowy mound, with a clapper in the form of a small gift box suspended by a chain. The group includes a small white ceramic bell decorated with a red shield containing a white cross above the printed text ‘Switzerland’. Also present is a black cloisonné enamel bell decorated with pink floral motifs and gold-toned wirework.
