A Group of Ringtons Commemorative Ceramics, a Boxed Die-Cast Model Van, and a Rose Pattern Tea Service
Description
A group of ceramic collectibles and a tea service. The collection includes a Ringtons centenary teapot and matching mug, both in white ceramic with blue banded decoration. The teapot is inscribed RINGTONS CENTENARY and features a central crest with the letter R flanked by the dates 1907 and 2007. The mug is similarly decorated with a crest and text reading TO CELEBRATE 100 YEARS OF QUALITY AND SERVICE and 1907 2007. The group also contains a white ceramic tea service decorated with transfer-printed red and pink roses and gilded rims, comprising a tall teapot, a cream jug, and multiple teacups and saucers. The bases of the rose pattern ceramics bear a printed green mark that is not legible in the image. Also present is a die-cast model of a Ringtons tea delivery van in black and yellow livery with company logos, housed in its original yellow cardboard window box printed with RINGTONS, a horse and cart logo, and A FAMILY BUSINESS EST 1907. The items are accompanied by a cream-coloured cardboard box printed with RINGTONS FINE TEA MERCHANTS NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, which bears a white adhesive sticker reading 219 and a smaller white sticker reading 501.
