An Assortment of Floral Patterned Ceramic Tea and Dinnerware
Description
An assortment of ceramic tea and dinnerware featuring two distinct decorative patterns. The first group consists of plates and cups with scalloped and fluted edges, decorated with multi-coloured floral sprays depicting roses, pansies, and yellow wildflowers. The second group includes saucers, cups, a cream jug, and a large circular serving plate, all finished with gilt rims and borders of small purple and pink floral clusters. A white rectangular adhesive label is attached to one teacup, printed with the text SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS, LOT, 218, and the telephone number 01132502626. A small white circular sticker reading 5.01 is present on the uppermost plate of the left-hand stack. A black circular backstamp is printed on the base of one upturned cup, though the characters within the mark are not legible.
