A Collection of Turned and Carved Wooden Kitchenalia and Decorative Items
Description
A collection of various turned and carved wooden objects featuring a range of wood grains and tones from light blonde to deep reddish-brown. The group includes a carved wooden owl figure with stylised concentric-circle eyes and incised plumage. Also present is a mechanical nutcracker with a turned wooden handle, a spherical metal pommel, and a metal crushing mechanism; a white adhesive label marked 501 is attached to the handle. The assortment further contains a light-coloured turned wood butter press or mould with a baluster handle and several turned wooden bowls of graduated depths and sizes. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the items.
