Description

A collection of porcelain and bone china mugs of various sizes and forms, including cylindrical and rounded examples. The pieces are decorated with a combination of transfer-printed and hand-painted floral sprays, predominantly featuring roses, alongside gold-gilt rims and handles. Several mugs bear personalised cursive inscriptions in gold gilt or colour, including the names Emily Dawson, Theodore Cedric, and Mary Ch. One rounded mug is finished with a green-lined rim and depicts a landscape scene with a female figure, accompanied by a name and date. These items are characteristic of British commemorative or christening ware from the late 19th to early 20th century.
Height: approximately 8cm – 10cm.
