A collection of UK and Commonwealth commemorative coins and medals, primarily of crown-sized dimensions and cupro-nickel composition. The group includes several 1977 Silver Jubilee crowns featuring the obverse depiction of HM Queen Elizabeth II on horseback and the reverse showing the coronation ampulla and anointing spoon. Also present are multiple 1981 Royal Wedding crowns commemorating the marriage of HRH The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, featuring dual profile portraits. Further items include a 1980 80th Birthday crown and 1985 85th Birthday commemorative medals for Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, a 1996 Five Pounds coin celebrating the 70th birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth II, and a 1975 British Virgin Islands twenty-five pence coin. One example displays a gilt finish.
