Description
An assortment of mid-to-late 20th-century banknotes and mixed coinage housed within a wooden display case. The collection includes several Bank of England Ten Shilling notes featuring the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, including serial number D29N 904216. Also present is a Bank of England Five Pound note depicting the Duke of Wellington (Series D) and an Isle of Man Government One Pound note, serial U5 239090. International issues comprise a Socialist Republic of Romania 10 Lei note, a National Bank of Yugoslavia 20 Dinara note with serial CU 6721235, and a Turkish 100,000 Lira note. The notes are variously presented in plastic sleeves, small polythene bags, and a framed insert. A small quantity of mixed international and domestic coinage is included.
