A Mid-20th Century Gold Plated Ringed Glass Lemonade Pitcher and Four Tumblers
Description
A mid-20th-century clear glass beverage set featuring polychrome and gilt banded decoration, identified in market contexts as a gold plated ringed lemonade set. The set comprises one pitcher and four matching tumblers of graduated sizes. Each piece is constructed of clear glass and decorated with a repeating pattern of horizontal concentric bands in turquoise, yellow, and lavender, interspersed with gold-toned gilt rings. The pitcher features a bulbous body tapering toward a flared rim with a pinched pouring spout and is finished with an applied clear glass C-scroll handle. The four tumblers follow the same decorative scheme and vary in height and diameter. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the bases or bodies of the items.
