A Victory Record Album Containing a Little Tots Nursery Tunes 78rpm Record
Description
A vintage Victory Record Album, dating to approximately 1923-1925, featuring post-bound heavy card covers. The front cover displays the printed title Victory Record Album with an illustration of a sailing ship in an oval frame and a small logo depicting a man with a top hat and cane, associated with the British Victory record label. The album contains at least one 78rpm shellac record from the Little Tots Nursery Tunes series, a label produced by the Plaza Music Company. The visible record, numbered 101-A, features the track Little Bo-Peep performed by the American recording artist Vernon Dalhart. The record label is illustrated with a Mother Goose motif riding a gander. The internal sleeves are constructed from paper.
