A Royal Standard Fine Bone China Tea Service in the Lyndale Pattern
Description
A part tea service manufactured by Royal Standard, an English factory based in Longton, Staffordshire. The set is produced in fine bone china and features the Lyndale pattern. The decoration consists of transfer-printed autumnal motifs depicting variegated leaves in shades of brown, ochre, and green, accented with small red berries. Each piece is finished with hand-applied gold gilding to the rims and handles. The collection includes several teacups, saucers, side plates, a sugar bowl, and a cream jug. The base of the items bears a printed mark in brown ink featuring a crown symbol above the words ROYAL STANDARD FINE BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND, with the pattern name Lyndale in green cursive script to the right.
