A Collection of CA, UK, and International Coins and Commemorative Medals
Description
A collection of numismatic sets and commemorative medals from various international issuers. The lot includes a 1977 Royal Canadian Mint proof set in a red velvet-lined presentation case with bilingual French and English text. Also included are multiple Britain’s First Decimal Coins sets in blue vinyl wallets. The collection features several solid bronze medals depicting British landmarks and figures, including Whitby Abbey, the Tower of London, Lindisfarne Castle, and Robert Burns (1759-1796). Various silver-toned and gold-toned items are housed in plastic capsules, including a Barack Obama 44th President medal and 1981 Royal Wedding commemoratives. One gold-toned item bears the motifs and inscriptions of a 1967 South African Krugerrand, marked Fyngoud 1 oz Fine Gold. Additionally, a gilt-toned Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) medal is present in a purple Grand Lodge of England pouch.
