Description
A collection of fraternal ceremonial regalia associated with the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB). The lot comprises several blue velvet collars and an assortment of blue fabric sashes finished with gilt-braid edging. The collars are mounted with ornate gilt-metal chains and medallions, featuring blue, red, and white enamel work. Visible inscriptions on the medallions include the initials R, A, O, and B on red-bordered emblems, and the letters C and P on large central shields. Circular motifs are present bearing the words PHILANTHROPY, JUSTICE, TRUTH, and GRAND LODGE OF ENGLAND.
