Description
A collection of ceramic tableware and decorative items including porcelain, bone china, and earthenware. The lot features a botanical service with transfer-printed motifs and script to the inner rims including the words fresh, fruit, and just in the mood, in the style of Portmeirion Botanic Garden. Also included is blue and white transferware comprising a teapot with a landscape scene and various plates and saucers with floral and geometric motifs. The assortment contains bone china teacups and saucers with pink and green floral sprigs and gilt-lined rims, as well as plates with wide gilt borders and scalloped edges. A service with a grey or black floral border on a white ground is present. Commemorative and decorative pieces include a blue-glazed relief-decorated jug titled Millennium Cathedral in its original box and a small white glazed figurine of a dog. The lot comprises a teapot, teacups, saucers, dinner plates, side plates, bowls, a cream jug, and a commemorative jug. Factory marks are present on the undersides but are not legible.
