Description
A collection of Wedgwood calendar plates manufactured from fine earthenware, specifically Queen’s Ware. The featured 1987 edition plate displays a central calendar grid for the year, surrounded by transfer-printed illustrations of various waterfowl species, including ducks and swans, set within a naturalistic border of reeds and foliage. The plate is finished with a thin red line to the rim. The collection is housed in original Wedgwood presentation boxes in blue and black. Printed marks on the packaging include Wedgwood, of Etruria, Made in England, and Barlaston.
